Avocado extract, a key ingredient is packed with essential nutrients that support growth and development, improve brain function, and promote healthy gut microflora. By incorporating this nutritious cereal into your little one’s diet, you can rest assured that they are getting the best start in life.
Peanut butter is the primary protein source in this recipe, which provides long-lasting energy to keep your little one active and engaged. Rolled oats are a great source of fiber and complex carbohydrates, which helps keep their tummies full for longer. The addition of chocolate chips and raisins makes these energy balls irresistible and will please even the pickiest of eaters.
Here’s what you’ll need to whip up a batch (makes 10 energy balls):
- 1/8 cup Double Happiness Baby First Feed Rice Cereal Avocado
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/8 cup chocolate chips
- 1/8 cup raisins or dried blackcurrants
To make the energy balls, simply blend all the ingredients except the raisins and chocolate chips until you achieve a doughy texture. Then, add the raisins and chocolate chips and mix with your hands. If the mixture is too dry, add a little peanut butter. If it’s too sticky, add some Double Happiness Baby First Feed Rice Cereal.
Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and refrigerate. They’re best enjoyed within three days!
And, don’t forget to serve them up on a nice tableware for an extra special touch. We hope you and your little ones enjoy these energy balls as much as we do!
